Coloring Eggs

Saturday afternoon, the day before Easter, we finally got around to coloring our Easter Eggs.  Tate had fun picking out which decorating kit he wanted. This year he chose a Mini Monsters kit.  We had fun coloring our eggs. Or in Tate's situation, his hands.  He chose to just use his hands to put the eggs into the dye and take them out.  His little monsters turned out pretty darn cute and we had a fun afternoon as a family.

Tate had just put his first egg into the dye. He was so excited to see what it would look like when it was done.

Tate and his daddy. Tate loves being with his dad.

Eggs, eggs and more eggs.  Tate did about 18 eggs and still wanted to know why there weren't any more.  I guess you can never have enough fun!

I love this!  Tate was showing us his monster face!

Posing with his yellow egg monster.

The finished product.  A whole bunch of egg monsters complete with scary hair, eyes and mouths.  What a great afternoon!

You are so right, life and holidays are much more enjoyable when experienced through the eyes of a child! Good job finding all those eggs Tate.
