It's Halloween Night

This year Halloween was so much fun. Tate was so excited to pick out his costume and loved every minute of Trick-or-Treating. He ran from house to house so happy and excited. We started the night by going up to my sisters house to take her kids a treat. They gave Tate a little goodie bag. He dumped the candy into his pumpkin and said, "Wow! My bucket is so full of candy. It is all the way to the top." It doesn't take much to please this boy.

Showing off his huge muscles. I love the built in muscles in this costume.

The cutest little Dash around.

Tate loved being able to pass out the candy to the other kids who came around. Tate is sitting on the porch waiting for kids so he can fill their buckets up with treats.

We invited some friends over for dinner and trick or treating. This is Hannah, Maelee, Tate and Allie all eating dinner before going Trick-or-Treating.

The greatest holiday ever! CANDY!

Halloween Party

We decided this year to head over to our Ward Halloween Party. I am sure glad we did because Tate had such a great time. He loved every minute of it and didn't want to come home.

The night started off with a yummy dinner of soups, salad and rolls.

Then the fun begins. Tate and Micah always have so much fun together. Tate decided to be Dash this year and Micah was Peter Pan.

Tate first was able to give the pinata a good whack.
Then off to more games. They had a fishing game that Tate loved, of course. Don't you just love this picture of his cute little friend Sage and Tate?

Then off to the Spook Alley. Tate told me that he was going to be very brave and that he could go all by himself without my help. He did it. I am sure it really wasn't that scary, but Tate thought it was pretty cool.

The night ended with donuts and apple juice and some good old fashioned fun chasing friends and playing with balloons. We had such a great time. It is always fun to watch Tate and see him having so much fun. What a great night!

Pumpkin Carving Fun

Since the day Tate picked out his pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch, he had been waiting very patiently for a day that his dad would be home long enough to carve pumpkins with him. Well, luckily that day finally came. Tate was so excited to carve his pumpkin. He dug about two scoops out of the pumpkin and actually did a few cuts into the pumpkin and then he was done. He was excited however to have a bat on his pumpkin (mom and dad had to help a little bit). Luckily, we had these really cute foam pieces to decorate the other pumpkins. That kept him very entertained while his dad finished his own pumpkin. We had such a fun night!

Tate scooping out his pumpkin seeds one seed at a time. Maybe that is why he got tired of it so quickly.
Tate's finished bat, bunny rabbit (as Tate calls it) and his Frankenstein. Tate loved putting the stickers on the pumpkins. So much fun.

Kraig's mummy. I think it turned out pretty good.

Tate and all of the finished pumpkins. Do you love the matching outfit? It was late and he had his pajamas on and put on his nice camo jacket. Looking good!
