The Big Race

On the Fourth of July, Kraig ran in the Freedom Festival Race with his 2 brothers and sister-in-law. He did a great job. There were so many people there, that I missed all of the others finishing the race, but at least I was able to catch a quick picture of Kraig. It's a little blurry, but it's the best I could get. Kraig right as he is about to cross the finish line.
After the race.
Way to go, Kraig. We loved cheering you on! Tate was so proud of his daddy for "winning the race."

Brooklyn's Baptism

The last week of June, my niece Brooklyn was able to be baptized. We were so happy to celebrate this special day with her. After her baptism we went to Heidi's for a BBQ and to play on their big slide. The kids had so much fun. It is always fun when all of the cousins get a chance to play together. My mom and her husband Joe were able to be here for the baptism. So, Brooklyn and Emma (who was baptized while Papa Joe and Grandma were on their mission) got a chance to pull money out of Papa Joe's money jar. He has a tradition where all of the kids on certain birthdays (8, 12, 16 and 19, I think) get to put their hand in his money jar and they get to keep whatever amount of money they pull out. I think Emma and Brooklyn both pulled out about 8 dollars each. Not bad!

Emma pulling out of the money jar. I didn't get a picture of Brooklyn taking her turn .

Tate getting off the slide.
Hyrum was loving being thrown down the slide. The boy has no fear.
Macy got thrown a little too hard and ended up landing off of the slide. Nate thought it was pretty funny.

Uncle Nate started throwing the kids down the slide so Tate thought he wanted a turn. Kraig threw him down the slide and he ended up going down head first. This is right as Kraig threw him up to the top.
Going Down!

Getting off. Obviously not as fun as he thought it was going to be.

Cousin Birthday Party

I am really slow in updating our blog, so I am obviously a little behind. Back at the end of June, Kraig's aunt and cousins came to visit. We had fun getting together and letting all of the kids play. Grandma Cannon and Aunt Virginia hosted an unbirthday party for all of the kids. They all had so much fun playing in the water and having a picnic together. Each kid also received their very own birthday bag full of coloring books, crayons, toys, sunglasses, bubbles and all sorts of great prizes. What a fun day!

Tate loved playing with the water shooters Grandma Cannon had. He loved spraying all of the kids.
I just love the look on Tate's face. He looks like he is out to get someone.

All of the kids waiting for their birthday bags.

Not exactly sure what Tate is doing, but he sure is excited about it.
Singing the "Hokey Pokey"
Pulling out his first gift out of his bag--a "flute" as Tate calls it. Not exactly sure who thought buying nine kids a recorder was a good idea. But, the kids loved it .

Thanksgiving Point

The last of June the some of the Rowley cousins came to town. We had a good time seeing them again and playing hard. One of Tate's favorite activities while they were here was going to Thanksgiving Point. He loves seeing the animals and riding the horses. Thanks Grandma Cannon for such a fun week.
Tate weighs as much as two goats. I think the scale was a little off. I don't think he is quite 180 pounds.
Tate and his dad's cousins Samantha. Look at the tiny baby horse behind them. So cute.
Riding his horse. He picked this one out all by himself.
So proud!
Behind bars! Hopefully we won't make this a habit.
