Preschool Field Trip

Last week we went on another preschool field trip. It is always so fun to take my cute little class places. They always get so excited and eager to see everything. Tate was no exception.  He talked about going to the police station and the post office for weeks before even going.  He even decided that when he grows up he wants to be a police officer so he can keep people safe and collect money (I guess that is what they do, isn't it?)

Who knew you could mail a live chicken?  The day we were at the post office a chicken had arrived in the mail and was waiting to be picked up by its new owner. It was making all sorts of fun noises and the kids thought this was the highlight of the whole field trip.  Tate loved putting his ear down by the box to see if he could hear it inside of the box.

First Day of Sunbeams

I can hardly believe that my baby is already old enough to go to Sunbeams.  He was so excited to go and he absolutely loved it.  I thought that once he got there might get a little nervous and change his mind. Instead, he walked right into the primary room, found his class and sat up and folded his arms.  I have a calling in Primary, so it was fun to watch him. He raised his hand to help with everything and kept saying, "Nuts" every time they didn't choose him. He finally got called on to help with the mailbox.  That made his whole day.  After church he said, "That was the best church ever! I had so much fun.  We had dance parties, colored, ate fruit snacks, learned about Jesus."  Tate has two great teachers and he loves being a Sunbeam.
