The Newest Member of the Family

For Tate's cousin's birthday party, he got to go to Build-A-Bear. When we got there he quickly chose a black puppy that looked like the neighbors dog, Roscoe. However, this dog was really not in the price range. So, we encouraged him to pick the cheaper dog and call him Roscoe. Tate would have none of that. He ended up choosing a new Teddy Bear and naming him Roscoe. Tate had so much fun. He loved choosing a heart for his new bear and then giving it a kiss and putting it inside the bear. The best part was being able to sit at the "pugga, pugga," (for those unfamiliair with Tate Talk, that would be the computer) and give his bear a new name. Thanks Heidi for inviting Tate to Ashlyn's party. Now whenever we go anywhere we bring, Tate, B (his first bear) and now Roscoe. That night when Tate was getting ready for bed, he brought Roscoe into his room and showed him his bed where they would sleep and told him all about the rocking chair where they would sing songs before bed.

because he had to share the washing table.

Just Reyaxin'

The other morning I finished getting ready for the day and came out to check on Tate. I found him sitting in a pile of blankets with nothing on but a diaper. He had taken off his clothes and grabbed all of the blankets off of his bed and put them all down in front of the TV and was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I came out and just laughed and asked him what he was doing. He quickly answered, "Just reyaxin'." Nothing like a cute little 2 year old to give you a good laugh for the day.

Fourth of July

So, just a little bit slow in posting these pictures. But, I guess it is better late than never. Kraig ended up being sick most of the day and most of the weekend for that matter. So, it was just Tate and I. We started the morning at the parade. I forgot the camera, so we don't have any pictures of that. We went to my sisters for a barbeque and to play in the water and once again, no camera. The only pictures I have of the day are the pictures of Tate doing fireworks, sparklers and snaps back at home at the end of the day. He loved the sparklers and snaps. And, by the look on his face, he was not so fond of the fireworks. However, he still asks for fireworks all the time. Go figure!

Wow! He sure is enjoying them!

Tate's First Trophy

Kraig has been playing on a softball team this summer and Tate has been loving every minute of it. He asks every day if we are going to go to dad's "game ball." Kraig and his team were awesome. They took second place and received a trophy after their last game. The team was taking pictures and one of the guys let Tate come be in the picture. He loves to look at this picture and tell everyone that he is with his "trophy, daddy, Klarkie, Kenny and Jeff." Tate was so excited to be part of the team and earn his first trophy.
