Memorial Day Breakfast

For as long as I can remember, Memorial Day has always meant a huge breakfast.  It has changed a little from year to year but in some way or another a big breakfast is always in order.  This year was no different. We celebreated a few days early, but had a great time.  We started the morning with a breakfast of the most delicious french toast and buttermilk syrup, waffles, sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and juice.  The kids had a great time being with their cousins and playing on the tennis court at Grandma Hollist's house.  After breakfast we headed up to my dad's grave to put flowers on it and then to the park to play kickball. We had so much fun playing kickball as a family and it is now Tate's new favorite game. Everyday he asks when we are going to go back to the park for kickball. After we were tired out, we went back to Grandma's for ice cream sundaes. We had so much fun spending time together as a family remembering our dad and grandpa. What a great day.

Tate was the pitcher for the kickball game.  He did great!

Look at the style!

Running around the bases.

Tate loves to swing.
I love his white hair.
