Happy Early Birthday, Tater Bug!

I can hardly believe that my baby boy will turn four tomorrow.  It really can't seem possible. I absolutely love this little guy more and more every day. He truly is a blessing in our lives.   And since there is a birthday, there defintiely has to be a party.  This year we ended up going all out. Not really on purpose, but we did.  The party turned out great. Tate had so much fun and I think all of his friends did too.  This year we had a carnival party.  Tate invited all of his friends, his cousins and grandmas and grandpas.  We played carnival games, had a big bounce house, ate hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, chips, drinks, cupcakes and candy. Way too much junk food, but isn't that what a carnival is all about.  Here is a whole bunch (yes, I realize picture overload) of pictures from the big day.

While everyone was coming, the kids decorated bags with stickers and colored pictures so they would have something to carry all of their treasures in.

Then Tate opened his presents. His friends were so good to him. He loves his monster trucks.

A fun nerf gun.

A slip and slide.

A butterfly habitat. He can't wait to grow his own butterflies.
He also recieved playdough, color wonder book, candy, a hopper, goggles and a kick board, Jumpin Monkeys game, a bubble rocket and so many fun toys.  He was spoiled.

He loves his Toy Story punching bag.  It has been well used.

Next we ate lunch.  Hot dogs, chips and Capri Suns.

Tate was pretty specific about what was for lunch.

Tate loves his daddy.

Grandpa Joe and Grandma came to help. Tate is lucky to have a lot of people who love him. Tate's aunt and cousins and even a cousins friend came over to help run all of the carnvial games. We couldn't have done it without them.

Let the fun begin. Basketball toss.

Bowling

Penny toss

Spray the cans with the squirt gun.

Grandma and Grandpa Cannon came to get in on all of the fun.

Grandpa Joe was such a good help!

Ashlyn and Brooklyn doing the duck pond.

Time to bounce

What a happy boy! I think he loved his party! The big smiles make all of the hard work worth every minute.

Tate loves his cousin Camden. Cam was so good to all of the kids. He was giving piggy back rides and all of the boys loved wrestling with him.

Tate, we love you bud! Hope you had a fun time at your party. We can't wait to celebrate your real birthday tomorrow!

Wow! What an awesome party! Do you hire out to plan for other kids? :)

I agree. Will you plan and host our birthdays? I would have loved to be there!
